angora fix!

hurrah! fans of my old comic, angora fix will be happy to know that the novelization of angora fix has begun (i tried to change the title to something else, but angora fix would not be moved)! i know, i know, i said i'd finish orange pekoe first, but i am a big fat liar. angora fix is here, and it's five chapters strong (never fear, orange pekoe is still going strong, too).

af chapters thus far:

one: constantine dreams death.
two: a burned hand.
three: the tale of connie cat.
four: black magic woman.
five: secret trickster cop.

i had to change it into a novel because prose is my strongest medium, and what i want to do with it i could never in a million years produce in comic book form, considering the level of my comic book skills. and how damned slooooow i am at comic booking. molasses has got nothin' on me.

in case you don't know, angora fix concerns a young, wild prostitute named constantine. it concerns a murdered boy-ghost named peter. it concerns a disillusioned waitress named petra. it concerns a hermaphroditic cabaret singer with white skin and a red dress. it concerns a corrupt undercover cop with a strange obsession. it concerns the rich and the poor, the living and the dead, and love beyond the grave.

in other words, standard fare from yours truly. ah, i'm excited about it.
