So this is a, whaddyacallit? A post that everybody can see, just to let you know I'm here. And hopefully I'll be here for a while. I don't think that doctor was lying to me, but you never can tell.

The name's Bob Smith. But you can just call me Bob. I'm not big on formalities. Let's see, what else can I say about myself? I'm a private eye. Maybe that sounds like a glamorous job, Sam Spade and all that, but believe me, it ain't. I've been run through the wringer more than a few times in my line of work. Uh, other than that, I'm just a regular guy. No one too special. Wouldn't look at me twice if you passed me in the street. Well, unless I'd just been eating a sloppy joe, and then you'd think to yourself, "What the heck does that guy have on his shirt?" Yeah, I love sloppy joes. They don't call them sloppy for nothing!

So-- if you'd like to be added to this here journal thingy, just let me know. And if I've added you, it's because I like the cut of your jib. You can consider that a complement, because I mean it as one.
